Finger Pointing at Another Person

This is a negative gesture suggesting aggression, threat, emphasis and authority.

Pointing at another person is confrontational and controlling. It is generally unacceptable and tends to indicate a lack of social awareness or self-control.

In some cultures the finger is thought to represent a pointed weapon.

It is strongly associated with anger directed toward another person.
